Scene description In the opening of the movie, John Connor and some men descend into a hole that turns out to be a prison where a lot of humans have been captured. But before being able to get to the door of that prison, a T-1 Unit pops up behind them and tries to stop them. However, the unit is quickly put down by the human's gunfire. The scene was in the trailers, in the novel, in the comic, but not in the theatrical movie. It appears in the director's cut. Reason cut In an interview from TheArnoldFans, executive producer Dan Lin explains the reason why it was cut: TheArnoldFans: "Why was the scene cut with the T-1 popping out of the water?"
