T2 omitted scene Scene description Detectives Mossberg and Weatherby find a fully-clothed body of the policeman (from the T-1000's arrival) in a trunk of a stolen police car. Reason cut Van Ling (Creative Supervisor), in T2, the Book of the Film, An Illustrated Screenplay: In the 5/10/90 original draft there is an earlier scene at the mall garage after the canal chase, in which detectives Mossberg and Weatherby find the full-clothed body of the policeman from scene 13 in the stolen police car's trunk, to clarify the concept that T-1000 sampled the first victim's cloting rather than actually taking the clother; the tourist who took the pictures of Terminator in the mall then came running up to the policemen excitedly waving his camera. Written as a set-up story for the hospital interview with Sarah, it was not vital to the telling of the story and was omitted from later versions of the script. Comments - Status - Source - |
