T-1000 in John's room
T2 deleted scene Scene description After killing dog Max, the T-1000 walks to John's bedroom and searches for clues about possible whereabouts. He touches everything with his fingers. He finds a hidden hole in a wall behind a poster. In the hole there's a box with pictures. Reason cut Van Ling (Creative Supervisor), in T2, the Book of the Film, An Illustrated Screenplay: Scenes of T-1000 searching John's room at the Voight house for clues were filmed but not used in the final cut, since the scenes were deemed not necessary early on. The inserts of pictures of Sarah and John in South America were never shot, for both time considerations and the fact that John gives much of this exposition in his dialogue in later scenes. The reveal of Janelle's body in the shower was implied and likewise unnecessary to show. Comments This scene is re-inserted back into the ultimate edition version of T2 (this is not the special edition cut). Status - Source Terminator 2 script, revised final shooting script: 56 INT.
