The George Washington figure appears to be a robot in Terminator style, after Bart pulls down George's pants. Living tissue over a metal (endo)skeleton and red eyes.
Bart appears in Terminator style, dark sunglasses, no emotions and holding the gun like only a Terminator could. With a hilarious oneliner he finishes off Abe Lincoln; "Hasta la vista, Abey" (nice pun).
Homer has written a moviescript called "the Terminizer," an erotic trailer. It's about a killer robot driving instructor who travels back in time for some reason. It has 17 pages, several pages of the time machine.
At the end of the episode, Ron Howard tries to sell his own moviescript but fails. He then
comes up to talk about "The Terminizer." "It's about a killer robot driving instructor who
travels back in time for some reason. This robot, he's got a heartbreaking decission to
make about whether his best friend lives or dies. His best friend is a talking pie." And he sells the script for a lot of money.
The language menu of DVD 3 of season 10 features The Terminizer in 3 languages.
The toy is thrown in the fire, but later rises out of it in metal skeleton appearance, behind the group that doesn't suspect it at first, like the Terminator.
Perhaps a little bit far-fetched, but I mention it nevertheless. The truck (filled with liquid nitrogen) turns. In the Simpsons, the truck (filled with Duff beer) turns in a similar way.
A canal chase that bares a strong resemblance to the T2's canal chase. Otto bursts through a chain link fence and Marge jumps after him like the T-800 does on his motorcycle. The have a wild ride through a dry canal system.
Rainier Wolfcastle (the Simpsons' version of Arnold Schwarzenegger) has a sellout of his stuff. Lenny finds an Endoskeleton-arm and uses it to scratch his ass.
Marge: "So I have been replaced by a machine?"
Homer: "Oh Marge... No machine could ever replace you, why you're the... Or could it?"
Homer's vision happens... Marge appears in some Terminator appearance and shoots Homer.
Homer: "Why did I give her a gun? But I repeat... Noone is being replaced by a machine!"
