In the opening of this episode, Xander and Willow are playing a game in which one says a moviequote and the other has to guess the movie:
Willow: Ok, um...
Xander: It's your turn.
Willow: Uk. Uh...
Willow: In the few hours that we had together, we loved a lifetime's worth.
Xander: Terminator.
Willow: Good! Right.
After Buffy has met Parker, she and her friends talk about them and all kinds of little Terminator references fliy by:
Xander: A technique I know well. Hit the girl with your best shot, then hasta.
Oz: Gotta respect the drive-by.
Xander: Low rejection, fond memories.
Willow: It looked like more than that to me. He got all googly-eyed.
Xander: That's because he got hit by the Buffinator. Now he's powerless.
Buffy: You think?
Oz: No question, he'll be back.
Xander: So, here it is. The latest in state-of-the-art combat technology. It doesn'tlook that complicated.
Buffy: So can you repair it?
Xander: Sure. Just as soon as I get my masters degree in Advanced Startship Technology.
Willow: Why don't we experiment? Press some buttons, see what happens.
Giles: I'd like to veto that.
Xander: Second. It's called a "blaster", Will. A word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, it if were called the "orgasmator", I'd try you button-press approach.
Buffy: Will, you haven't seen this Adam thing. He's the Terminator without the bashful charm.
After Faith wakes up from her coma, she meets with a girl and her conversation is similar like the conversation Kyle Reese has with the police officer when he was asking him about the date:
Faith: What day is it?
Girl: Friday.
Faith: What date? The date?
Girl: February 25th.
Faith: What year?
Girl: Maybe I should get a nurse...
